“Hi, my name is Jacqueline Hernandez but most people call me Jackie. I am currently 15 years old and I attend Stratton Mountain School. I have been snowboarding since I was 9 and I have loved it ever since. During the week I snowboard in the morning and go to school in the afternoon. My main event is boardercross but I also compete in alpine events. Besides snowboarding, I play soccer and lacrosse.

In my spare time I usually am with my friends or family. I play Guitar Hero a lot. I have a huge dog named Samson, he’s the coolest. I like Mexican food and I like cooking. I really want to learn how to make lemon meringue pie, any suggestions? People say I am always laughing and that can be a problem at school.

I like motorcycles; my brother has a Triumph Daytona and my Dad has a huge Boss Hoss and I love going on the back. Maybe one day I will have one of my own. I travel a lot in the winter and I love it. I couldn’t live without my computer. It keeps me in touch with my friends and family while I’m gone. Snowboarding is my life and I don’t know what I would do without it.
