Ever hear the expression:

“That kid has got way too much time on his hands”?

Well, this is what happens when that kid grows up.

We could tell you about it but then it wouldn’t be as fun. Snowboard Mag’s fortunate reporter Pancho attended the Icer Air 2007; which took place at the Giants Stadium in San Francisco, California. Judging from the photos, this is the best possible spot to hold a massive snowboarding airs contest, complete with kilos of trucked and man-made snow.

Turkey, beef or other?! That’s what I want to know.

Honestly - never would have put it together, so the geniuses at Fuel TV did it for us. Hot Doggin’ with Hot Dogs – it looks a little sketchy but oh so delightful…

Thanks to Fuel TV for all sorts of randomness

Copper Mountain, Colorado may just be snowboarding’s next best thing. With one of the top snowfalls this year so far, a great after-dark scene and 3 mountains to choose from (and now for the first time – one pass access to all 3), it’s best to say – start planning your winter getaway now.

Snowboard Magazine’s Alex Pashley reports from Copper Mountain:

Yesterday we were all back on our feet. We headed over to Copper Mountain (Coppercolorado.com) to see what they had going on. We hooked up with David “Lee” Roth from Copper and got all lined up. Big thanks to that crew. Copper actually had the best snow we had ridden since the trip began. Good top to bottom coverage with a whole jib line set up top.

After getting the run down from David, it sounds like Copper is going to be making a big push in the years to come. They have a signed deal with Woodward and they have Frank Wells and Elliot Cone coming in to assist Adam Tietz and crew. If you’re in Summit County, Copper is a must do.

Ah, a day in the North Cascades…bluebird skies, below zero temperatures, great friends, your frozen breath a permanent testament to your mortality…until you realize that you’re in – where?! Washington State?! This snow-covered paradise lies on our side of the border?! Well, praise be! There’s hope for us after all!

Come with Future Magazine photographer Stan Evans, pro snowboarder Leanne Pelosi and Future Magazine as they explore Washington’s North Cascade Mountains by helicopter. Enjoy!

Future goes to the North Cascade Mountains, Canada; for a double-sided, all-terrain snowboard trip. If we told you about it, the video wouldn’t be fun.

Stay tuned for the full North Cascades article in Future Snowboarding Magazine (issue 3.4).
